Want a free Garmin watch and Cash Back on your life insurance?
Life insurance can be a pretty dull topic to talk about at times but we have some really exciting news. We have been selected as one of 50 financial brokers nationwide to take part in a pilot scheme where new customers with Zurich Life get a free Garmin Vivosmart watch with heart rate monitor.
What Type of Garmin watch are new customers entitled to?
Participants in the pilot scheme will receive a Garmin Vivosmart watch and you will get a full description by watching the link below on youtube. It’s ideal for runners and fitness enthusiasts who realise the benefit of tracking your heart rate during exercise.
How do I Get Money Back Also?
If participants record more than an average of 2,000 steps per day over the course of 1 year, you will be refunded 4 months premiums (max €1,000).
If you record an average greater than 2,000 steps per day over the course of 2 years, you will receive a further 2 months cash back (max €500).
What’s the Catch?
In order to qualify for this scheme, you must:
- You have to take out a new life insurance policy with a premium greater than €25 per month per person. If you have a mortgage protection policy with another provider, you can switch this over to Zurich and you may even save money on your premiums if you took your original policy out with a bank.
- Download an app
- Allow your data to be shared with the insurer for a period of 2 years.
What happens after the Pilot Scheme Ends?
The data will be deleted after 2 years and you get to keep the watch. The scheme will allow insurers review the effectiveness of such devices and whether it leads to fitness and health gains. The data won’t have any future impact on your premiums or future policies.
How long does the offer Last for?
There are only 500 Garmin watches available through the pilot scheme across 50 brokers nationwide so it’s on a first come first serve basis. Give us a call or drop us an email if interested in more details.
